I’m sure anyone who knew Andrew Fairlie is struggling to come to terms with his passing yesterday.

He is one of the most remarkable people I’ve ever met. A truly decent and genuine human being who I had the very great privilege to get to know well over the years I worked with him.

His passion for his craft, and his smile, were infectious. His patience, understanding and kindness were humbling. I shall miss his ear and advice greatly.

My sincere condolences to his wife Kate, family and friends around the world.
